Otto Kallir (1894-1978)

Although he devoted much of his life and professional career to the fine arts Otto Kallir was a man of many interests:

• He established two pioneering collections documenting the history of human flight
• He helped Holocaust victims recover art looted during World War II
• He and his wife, Fanny Kallir, established the American branch of the SOS Children's Villages
