As the representative of the Leonard Baskin Estate, the Galerie St. Etienne licenses the artist's work for reproduction in books, magazines and other publications. We also have available a limited selection of jpgs, color transparencies and black and white photographs. If you would like to request reproduction rights, please contact us.



The Galerie St. Etienne regular includes Leonard Baskin's work in exhibitions on its own premises. In addition, the gallery processes the loan of the artist's work to group exhibitions at qualified venues, and can organize one-person shows for museums and other institutions. Exhibitions can be tailored to the needs and budget of the borrowing institution, and may comprise unique works, or prints, or a combination of both.

The following exhibitions are presently available for rental:


LEONARD BASKIN: Proofs and Process Based on the 2007 exhibition at the Galerie St. Etienne, this show explores the artist's involvement with recurrent key themes in a variety of mediums. The exhibition includes approximately 5 to 7 sculptures, 10 to 15 drawings and watercolors, 15 to 20 monotypes and 15 to 20 prints, and requires approximately 220 running feet of space. The rental fee is $10,000.


A smaller version of LEONARD BASKIN: Proofs and Process (circa 175 running feet), consisting solely of monotypes and prints, is available for $5,000 per venue.


The rental fee includes a complete checklist (which can also be used to generate object labels), a press release and a selection of publicity images. Packing, shipping and insurance are the repsonsiblitiy of the borrower.
